Chilston Park Wedding photography – Louise and Gawain’s gorgeous summer wedding in Kent.
A short drive south of the river took me to Kent and Louise and Gawain’s lovely wedding at Chilston Park.
Louise got ready at her Mum’s house and was (well appeared ) really calm and was really enjoying the preparation part of her day.
It was just a short trip round the corner to the church where she is a member of the choir. The choir from Rochester Cathedral had come to sing for her on her day.
Louise had already informed me that the song she had chosen to walk into was the Coronation anthem. Louise had already chosen it before she knew that Kate and William also had picked it for their wedding!
Despite her father pulling her veil out as he walked back this seat the rest of the ceremony went without a hitch.
After a drive back to the reception at Chilston Park in their vintage Rolls Royce they had a fabulous afternoon of relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunny day. While a close up magician entertained the guests we took few quick pictures in and around the grounds.
After a very entertaining receiving line everyone headed in for dinner. I was fortunate to be invited to sit with the guests which I must admit was great fun.
There were some daft games which resulted in some great fun images. I have rarely seen more laughter during the following speeches.
As the evening drew in we wandered around the grounds for a few more relaxed pictures.
Louise had her dress bustled up before their first dance which really kicked off the evenings party with a bang.
I will long remember their wedding as a fabulous day for a truly lovely couple.
